Do you offer telepsychiatry appointments?


Yes. Secure telepsychiatry appointments are available for patients throughout New Jersey when clinically appropriate. Telehealth services provide convenient access to care from the comfort and privacy of your home.

What can I expect during my first appointment?


Your initial evaluation is a comprehensive psychiatric assessment that includes a review of your current concerns, psychiatric history, medical history, medications, family history, and treatment goals. This appointment allows us to develop a personalized treatment plan tailored to your unique needs.

How long are appointments?


Initial evaluations are typically 60 to 90 minutes. Follow-up appointments generally range from 20 to 45 minutes depending on the complexity of care and treatment needs.

Do you prescribe medications?


Yes. Medication management is available when clinically appropriate. Treatment recommendations are individualized and may include medication, psychotherapy, lifestyle interventions, or a combination of approaches.

Do you provide psychotherapy?


Yes. Psychotherapy may be incorporated into treatment when appropriate. Treatment is individualized and may include supportive therapy, cognitive behavioral strategies, and other evidence-based therapeutic approaches.

Do you treat memory problems and cognitive concerns?


Yes. We evaluate older adults experiencing memory changes, cognitive concerns, mood symptoms related to aging, caregiver stress, and other behavioral health challenges that may affect quality of life. When appropriate, we collaborate with primary care physicians, neurologists, and other specialists to ensure comprehensive care.

Do you accept new Medicare patients?


Yes. We welcome new Medicare patients and are committed to providing compassionate, high-quality psychiatric care for older adults and seniors.

Do you work with caregivers and family members?


Yes. With the patient’s consent, family members and caregivers can play an important role in treatment. We recognize that psychiatric and cognitive concerns often affect the entire family, and we strive to provide support, education, and guidance when appropriate.

Can you coordinate care with my primary care physician or other healthcare providers?


Absolutely. We believe that collaboration among healthcare providers is essential to achieving the best outcomes. With your authorization, we can communicate with your primary care physician, therapist, neurologist, or other treating professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.
